BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE (BYOD)

Technology is now all-pervasive and can have great value in education. At Lakes Grammar we ask parents of students in the Senior School to provide a mobile device for their child to bring to school. Preferred devices are: Microsoft Surface, MacBook or another type of laptop (although we prefer not an Android device or Chromebook). Most textbooks are available as eBooks, which lightens the load in backpacks. Teachers will have students using their devices for a range of activities or may choose not to use them at all at times.

Parents will be able to purchase a device at a reduced price through any of the following, but we advise you to compare prices:
