Located on the scenic Central Coast only 40 minutes north of Wahroonga, Lakes Grammar is a K-12 co-educational Anglican School located in Warnervale, on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW. Since opening in 2004, Lakes Grammar has developed an excellent reputation for a quality education and as one of the leading Independent schools in the Central Coast region. The school operates under the auspices of the Diocese of Newcastle and has over 900 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 predominantly three stream. The school has utilised a range of contemporary, research-based programs to enhance student engagement including Building Learning Power, KidsMatter and MindMatter programs. RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION POLICY

At Lakes Grammar we are focused on building the professional capacity of its teachers. Our school’s culture fosters collaborative professional learning, with peer learning partners and professional learning teams, and a strong focus on improving student learning.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • A willingness to promote and support the Christian Foundation of the College.
  • A minimum four years’ tertiary qualification, which includes appropriate educational
    qualifications specific to the role.
  • Be a currently fully registered teacher with the appropriate regulatory authority of
    employment. NESA registration necessary.
  • A working knowledge of current NSW curriculum and curriculum development.
  • Ability to embed 21st century skills into programming.
  • Proven ability to integrate ICT into teaching practice.
  • Pedagogical proficiency and motivational classroom practices.
  • A valid NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Commitment to the education and wellbeing of young people.
