da Vinci Decathlon

YEAR 6 win da Vinci Decathlon 2018

Congratulations to Year 6 who won the Hunter Region da Vinci Decathlon for 2018. Both Year 5 and Year 6 came first, second or third in individual subjects. It was a great day and a wonderful achievement to bring home the trophy.

The group was made up of eight Year 5 students and eight Year 6 students.  The da Vinci Decathlon, inspired by the work of Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519), is an academic competition designed to challenge and stimulate young minds across 10 disciplines:  engineering, mathematics and chess, code breaking, art and poetry, science, English, philosophy, creative producers, cartography and general knowledge.
